Social gatherings at Holmes Run Pool are a great way to make new friends and to spend fun-filled days and evenings with old friends. There is something for everyone, and for the whole family.

Holmes Run Pool hosts a variety of weekly and monthly events, as well as a handful annual free social and a few ticketed special events. The events scheduled changes from season to season. Special Events

Father’s Day Beer Tasting

What better way is there to celebrate Father’s Day than with a little beer tasting? Sample signature craft beers from a local brewing company. This is a ticketed event.

Bloody Brunch

Join us for a midday refresher while your children (or other people’s children) frolic in the pool. Enjoy a fabulous Bloody Mary bar, Mimosa, or non-alcoholic beverage served with bagels and lox, This is a ticketed event.

Midsummer Gala & Crab Feast

Enjoy a date night with your loved one or mingle with friends as you sip on a Summer cocktail and dine on surf and turf fare. Stay awhile and dance to live music under the starry night sky. This is a ticketed event.

End of Summer Festival

Featuring carnival games, minute-to-win-it challenges, a relay tournament for all ages, prizes, vendors, food trucks, henna artists and more. This is a ticketed event.

Fall Party & Pig Roast

Have one last hurrah at this festive gathering to welcome and celebrate the Fall season. Kids are invited to decorate a mini pumpkin that they can take home with them. There is plenty to eat, including slow roasted pig and freshly made sides for dinner. This is a ticketed event.

Pre-Opening Wine & Cheese Reception

Come on out to relax, reconnect, and enjoy conversation with fellow members before the kids hit the decks on Saturday morning.

Ice Cream Social

Come on out and enjoy some ice cream while visiting with your neighbors! Choose your favorite ice cream flavor and then top it off with whatever your heart desires! We will have all the classic toppings such as chocolate syrup, whipped cream, sprinkles, cherries, and more!

Fourth of July Celebration

Celebrate America’s birthday with a picnic at the pool. Then partake of fun water activities and watermelon and cake.

Ladies Night

Hang out with friends, new and old! We might have a chocolate and wine tasting or enjoy margaritas while we catch up.

Guys Night

Get together with the guys. Enjoy a cold one while you play a game of cards or talk about your favorite sports.

Poker Night

Feeling Lucky? Join us for an exciting evening testing your skill and luck at the HRARA Poker Tournament. We play a “serious” game of No-Limit Texas Hold’em.

Chili Cook Off

Bring a large crock pot of your best chili to share. An impartial panel of judges taste, deliberate, and then present the winner with free tickets to a special event, but of course the true prize is full bragging rights!

Taco Trivia Night

Are you a fanatic for fun facts? Assemble your dream team and head down to the pool to show off those trivia skills. The Grand Prize winning team wins free tickets to a special event.

Pot Luck Dinner

Does it even need explaining? This is simply a night to enjoy some good food with good company. Bring a favorite dish to share and an appetite to try new things.

Weekly and Monthly Happenings

Steak Night

Bring something to throw on the grill. The pool provides all the fixings plus simple sides. This is a great way to enjoy picnicking on the grounds with your friends and neighbors.
