Come out and watch the Summer 2024 Olympic Games, hosted in Paris this year, while enjoying a champagne brunch. Champagne and French inspired cuisine such as croissants, crudité, and French baguette with cheese and pate will be served on the Middle Deck. Why drive all the way up to Baltimore for a crab feast when you can attend one right here at the pool with all of your friends and neighbors? Holmes Run Pool hosted its first crab feast around 2006 or so, the exact year is unknown it was so long ago. This community gathering was so enjoyed that it became an annual event and is now a longstanding tradition that members eagerly await every summer. In fact, it is such a well attended event that members are reputed to have put away up to 15 bushels of crabs! Come join us for this midsummer's feast and, once you’ve had your fill, dance the night away or swim by the light of the moon.

A night of BLACK JACK hosted by our members and “professional” dealers Billie Hauser  and Patrick Grace. The event is free, however sign up is requested as seating is limited. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. This promises to be an exciting evening with very special prizes. Please RSVP by Tuesday, August 27 to help our hosts better plan for this event. Swimming may be over for this year, but there is still another chance to get together with your Holmes Run Pool friends at this festive gathering celebrating the Autumn season. Chefs Jim Wright, Mark Sites, and their trusty pit crew will lovingly smoke and slow roast a whole pig on site overnight. Savor the succulent barbecue with vegetarian sides including chili, mac and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw all homemade by Seena Polivy and Laura Champe Mitchell. Children are invited to decorate a mini-pumpkin that they can take home with them and All are encouraged to participate in or spectate at a three-legged race! So come, enjoy some excellent barbecue, catch the three-legged race, indulge in dessert, or just take in the vibe of the evening, all in the good company of friends and neighbors at this favorite annual event.
